Privacy Policy

How Print Puzzles handles privacy.

This page explains what information Print Puzzles collects, why it is used, and how to contact us about it. It is written for the current site: printable puzzle tools, browser games, PDF creation, original guides, and email support.

Who is responsible for this site?

Print Puzzles is operated by Hamilton Digital Media Limited. For privacy questions, data requests, article corrections, puzzle requests, or bug reports, email [email protected] or use the contact page.

What information we collect

The current site is designed to collect very little personal information. We do not currently provide user accounts, paid checkout, comments, community profiles, or newsletter signup forms.

  • Messages you send us: if you email Print Puzzles, we receive your email address, name if you provide it, message content, attachments, and any page or bug details you include.
  • Technical site data: our hosting and security systems may process server log information such as IP address, requested page, time of request, browser or device information, referrer, and error details.
  • Puzzle settings: worksheet titles, puzzle counts, PDF options, and game choices are used in your browser to create the puzzle experience. They are not intentionally sent to us by the current site code.

How puzzle tools and PDFs work

Printable puzzle builders, playable puzzles, and PDF downloads are designed to run client-side in your web browser. This means the puzzle data and worksheet options are used on your device to show the preview, support play, and create the PDF.

If you email us a screenshot, PDF, puzzle setting, browser details, or bug report, that information becomes part of the message you chose to send.

Cookies and similar technologies

The current Print Puzzles source code does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, preference cookies, local storage, or session storage. The site may still be delivered through normal hosting and security infrastructure, which can create server logs.

If analytics, advertising, embedded media, cookie-based preferences, or other non-essential storage is added later, this policy should be updated before or when those features launch. Where consent is required, the site should ask before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

Why we use information

  • To provide the website, puzzle tools, downloadable PDFs, and playable puzzle features.
  • To respond to emails, bug reports, puzzle requests, correction requests, and general questions.
  • To maintain site security, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and keep pages available.
  • To improve puzzle pages, print layouts, guides, and user experience based on feedback.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, accounting, or record-keeping obligations where they apply.

Lawful bases where UK or EU data law applies

Depending on the situation, Hamilton Digital Media Limited may rely on legitimate interests, legal obligations, consent, or steps connected with a request you make. For example, we have a legitimate interest in operating a secure website, replying to genuine messages, fixing bugs, improving puzzle tools, and keeping reasonable records of site feedback.

Who information is shared with

We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that help operate the site and email, such as hosting, security, backup, email, and technical support providers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect the site, or with professional advisers where necessary.

Print Puzzles links to external sites, including Hamilton Digital Media, author pages, and social profiles. Those sites have their own privacy practices when you visit them.

How long information is kept

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed for the reason they were sent, such as replying to a question, fixing a bug, handling a correction, or keeping a reasonable record of a site issue. General messages are normally reviewed for deletion within 24 months unless there is a good reason to keep them longer.

Server logs are kept by hosting or security providers for limited operational periods. Exact log periods may depend on the provider and the technical need, such as security monitoring, debugging, and abuse prevention.

Children and family use

Print Puzzles is family-friendly, but it is not designed to collect personal information from children. The site does not currently provide child accounts, profiles, comments, or direct messaging. If a child wants to contact Print Puzzles, a parent, guardian, or teacher should send the message.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis for processing. To make a request, email [email protected].

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how a privacy issue is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue first.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy should be reviewed whenever Print Puzzles adds major features such as analytics, advertising, accounts, comments, newsletters, payments, embedded third-party media, or saved puzzle history. The updated date at the top of the page should change when the policy is materially updated.
